Frame anchor for Scotts steering
stabilizer

 |
The Dirt
Tricks frame anchor is constructed in four separate components.
The steer tube clamp is a 180 degree two piece unit which clamps
rigidly to the steer tube just under the dust seal. No
drilling or welding required (except for CRF450, see
below). No disassembly of the triple clamp is
required. The vertical post bolts to the lower clamp and is
horse shoe shaped to allow cables to pass through. A stainless
steel pin is press fit into the top of the post which engages
the Scotts damper. |

The Honda
450R anchor above is machined from 300 series stainless steel
and requires drilling and tapping into the heavy Honda frame
member. We provide a template, drill and 6mm roll tap. This is
the cleanest and strongest mounting method for the 450R. |

Note:
The YZ/YZF mounting hardware needs either the Dirt
Tricks variable offset triple clamp, OR the
conventional offset triple clamp (see option below). |
